More Destroyer Feedback
« on: »
This'll be just my random musings as I play through with a Destro...

Charge Bonuses:

The defensive bonus from charge (up to 20% damage reduction) is way too much.  Combined with the innate 25% damage redux for melee means the Destro doesn't take enough damage to ever get in trouble.

Shadow Armor:
The shield buffer is too strong.  It gets applied every 3 seconds and absolutely trivializes incoming damage.  It should be maybe 1/2 of what it is now.  Especially when combined with Entropic Aura and the Destro's defensive charge bonus this makes the Destro way too survivable (especially early game).

Slash Attack:
The animation is too slow.  It's more TL1 speed than TL2 speed.  Maybe increase the speed by ~20%, reduce the damage ~15% and increase the radius ~0.5m.  Also, we could make it count all weapons in its attack if we use an AltAnimation for dual-wielders.  I'd suggest adjusting the damage per weapon for the dual-wield version so that it comes out roughly equivalent to a 2-hander.

Deadlock:
I really like this skill.  I think it'd be even better as a build-up and release skill.  Here's a tutorial.

Thanks v much for these inputs Gyt!

I believe the work on the Charge mechanics and on Shadow Armor are within my capability :P I'll get on them.

For Slash Attack, I'll post back when I start working on it as I may need help there.
