Heya folks!
« on: July 15, 2019, 01:18:55 am »
I'm Caitlyn, or TheCaitularity. I've come here mostly to get help on my overhaul mod, and only managed to stumble across this place via fevered googling. I'm psyched to see this place still very much active; even if I wasn't looking for help, just the thought that people are still modding Torchlight 2 is special in of itself.

Hi @TheCaitularity welcome and we're glad another modder has stumbled in ;)

If you want to start with less formal chitchat to get your bearings feel free to drop by the discord server.  The link is in the righthand panel, just under the shoutbox window.

Or you can just jump right in and start some threads about what you want to do and/or what you want some help with.

Hi @TheCaitularity !! We are always glad to have you or anyone else interested in modding TL2 find encouragement and a place to receive advice from those of us who have faced these modding challenges and the solutions that have been discovered over the years.

The more we mod and share TL2, the more everyone benefits potentially. I hope we treat you with respect for your vision and help where we can to the limits of what we know.
At this point after playing Torchlight 2 for 8 years original and modded... ignorant of mods and now wise with compatibility... the one thing I value the most-

-is being able to have "support" from the author of any mod.

I think the only advice I can give is that you don't burn yourself out. ^_^
