I want to make a proper endgame
« on: »
So all of you have probably noticed how when you finish the storyline there's a lack of purpose besides
doing the story again and again (NG+) and the extremely lackluster mapworks .
Thats why i made this mod  with the intention on expanding the mapworks.
But i wanted to take it to the next level and do something more ambitious and give the game a more meaningful endgame.
So maybe you can help me with some ideas on what to do and how to do it. It still pretty up in the air.
maybe add higher level map scrolls so you have to grind for better gear to be able to beat them. Based on that, maybe add something to grind for that makes you a lot more powerful so you can match the difficulty of said levels?
Maybe the endless dungeon already fulfills some of that?
What do you think?  :D

You are on a good path... while many mods have been made to extend the end game in various ways we could always use a fresh perspective or in other words we could use new mods with new creative vision that answer this issue in a different or better way from the past.

I would have said more yet I got sleepy answering an entire days worth of questions today so I will advise you to study some of the best mods ever made to extend Torchlight by providing this Link to a Discussion from Steam!  :)

At this point after playing Torchlight 2 for 8 years original and modded... ignorant of mods and now wise with compatibility... the one thing I value the most-

-is being able to have "support" from the author of any mod.

I think the only advice I can give is that you don't burn yourself out. ^_^
