I was looking into reimplementing daggers, but noticed half the time we already have in the form of chody swords lol. I'm not a stickler for realism and I love TL2's art style but the 1h sword in particular take it mayybe too strangely. I have a sneaking suspicion some of the were supposed to be daggers but lumped in with swords after they got scraped. But anyways I started reshaping them and got way to into it so here's some more sword-like swords if you want them. and dont worry I didn't just squeeze the mesh I tried to make them just "read" more as swords, rather than necessarily be thinner (although that often came along with it) and really tried to hand mold the entire mesh to feel that way, reshaping rather than resizing. Hopefully it ended with a nice balance between the art style and something that looks like a sword. I thought I should drop them off here in case anyone else wasn't into the oversized daggers we have now :) hopefully you find a use for them

Oh and here's a piece of wood for a shield, an actual shield, and halberd I cobbled together from some of the game's scenery meshes.

Thanks so much Avocados for sharing your work, and it is GREAT work! The re-proportioning you've done looks really good. But i must admit the first thing that popped into my head was "those would be fantastic 2-handers" lol!

I hope to find these in your item mod ;) can some of them be 2-handers pls?

haha see this game has got our sense of proportion all messed up! They can be whatever you want them to be. It'd be super easy to scale them up a bit and increase the length of the handle to make them work as 2h if you want me to post that in a sec. I'm fixing some of the staves right now and can do it right after :)

I've hit a roadblock in the staff making since I M DUM and don't know how to merge meshes but here's the staves I have sp far :/ They're just very lightly modified vanilla staves or wands (I was unhappy with some the earlier/midgame staves, they look weird. And I feel like you ought to start with a solid gandalf-the-grey walking stick rather than some lumpy unbalanced looking crystal monstrosity)
I'll start making you some 2H-ders in the meantine

Here's Sword13 mesh resized to be a 2Hander and some screens so you can see the shape differences. I started with this one because I decided the gap in the blade I made a litttle too small so there's an updated 1H version here too with a slightly larger gap

Maybe you are not an expert animal trainer and can't get your dog to sell things in town so why not hang out with this adorable Ponya porter instead? Goggles, front pouch, and backpack (finally) working with skeleton :D

Awesome stuff, love it!! IIRC the Ponya already have attacking animations, so making them a pet should be cake!

op I forgot to post the armored ponya. I also did the same thing to maces that I did to swords, essentially tring to ensure a visual distinction between daggers/swords/greatswords and maces/greathammers. Many greathammer that looked like they'd fit as maces were converted and the same was done for "maces" that looked like they'd make good, big, warhammers. Generally, the sizes of the "head" of the maces were decreased/reshaped, and I think they "feel" a lot better. Still fun and cartoony, but not the same size as the warhammers anymore.  The animated ones are working properly in their new sizes as well.

Surely I can't be the only one bothered by the fact that half the 1H Axes were BIGGER than 2H axes, the only discernable difference between what would be a 2H axe and what would be 1H was the length of the handle. So axes are done now. Generally smaller heads for 1Handers, bigger for 2Handers, and 2Handers generally get double blades where visually appropriate. Some were simply reshaped just because I thought their meshes could be better.

Also, though I doubt anyone would want to, but just in case someone does and I'm not around to reply, anything I post is free to use/release in whatever you want.

These are all so well done Avocados, you really should release them as a weapons pack mod! :)
