Brothers-in-Arms Mods (by doudley)
« on: »
Hi @doudley ! This is actually a reply to your post over at RGF thanking those who are playing your mod.

Just wanted to say thank YOU for making such a great mod!

I'm still a little confused though about the major/minor differences between BiA(HAP) and BiA:W ( :( sorry).  Also, can I make units for use with BiA(HAP) (it seems it would be easier than for BiA:W)...

Yeah, I know. I got sentimental reading those again. :)

Thank you Phanjam, for the acknowledgement!

BiA (HaP) is a starting pet mod, while BiA: Warbounds (WB) is a summoned pet mod.

My guide for BiA is not done yet but the procedure in adding a custom one is almost the same with WB. The only difference in custom unit integration would be in WB there are skill-tags, while in BiA you have a class skill tree user interface, that you have to type-in every detail manually.

So, I'm sorry to say but both will be difficult to follow, especially if you have custom class skills.

Thanks. :)

Here's the deal with the pet skills, these skills are not latent skills, they are actually activated already but was set to a dummy skill ranks. This means if you have acquired a skill mastery buff or a mod that raises all skill ranks, then we got a problem.

May I ask more details about your mod load order or what 2nd character are you using?

I've tried male and female pet embermage. I can't recreate the issue you are having :(

Can you tell me more details on what your pet have, how about a screeenshot of the pet's equipment screen?

May I ask, if your BiA mod was from Steam or from RGF? Because I have not uploaded my latest update to RGF, I'm doing it right now.

Thank you for responding. :)

Please let me know if you were able to test it again, because I can't seem to recreate the "random skill casting even with no skill points invested for embermage pets" issue.
