When I'm right, the background of the "player creation menu" is the inside of that building right behind the "Destroyer" when you enter a new game at "Echo Pass".
I would love to enter that building in game!
The Idea behind that is to add the two stashes and the "pill giver" and a merchant who offers all the basic weapons + shield? so we can have the start items we prefer...
Is that doable? I am far from modding maps but I'd love that bar tender in the background coming alive! (somewhere I found some animations or a model.. cant remember exactly)

I think it's possible. You need to create something like a small dungeon. Start to work in this direction.
