• Hi everyone,
  I've been thinking about joining this forum for a while now. I really like what you guys do here.
  As a modder I don't have that many skills yet, but I'm really interested in getting better.
  
  I've made a few minor little mods like Unique Beams and put them on steam but most of them are purely copy and paste jobs from existing particles.
  
  This week I've been trying to understand how everything works more and create a few particles from scratch. I've been more focused and had more enjoyment making my little particle mods in GUTS in the last few days than I have been on anything else for a long time. That tells me this is something I want to do more!
  
  So hopefully I will be able to learn some things from you guys and in turn I aim to give back and eventually help out with your mods as I get better. I'm particularly keen to focus on particles and effects.

• Welcome, Aherin!  TwinkleToes is the one to ask about particle effects, but I know a little bit about them.  Feel free to ask if you have any troubleshooting to do, I'm sure someone will be able to help.

  check out this thread to see some previews of what you can possibly learn, the gifs in there are not full quality but it still showcases the particles pretty well
