I know not many people are still playing with the original torchlight, but I have made another update to my Halloween Witch mod, and I cannot upload it to rgf at the moment, and no idea when or if that will be fixed. Hopefully that forum won't disappear. There is a lot of good info on there.
Anyhow, for those interested, my mod (beta version 0.5) can be downloaded here:

The poly count is rather high, but I have not seen any issues even when running it on an old dell d800 laptop I have.
I need to finish the assassin and gunslinger armor sets. Then at least the mesh work will be complete.

This is fantastic meshwork Vkoslak!
I just noticed that several of your meshes are skirtless. I'm guessing you made your own (not using one of the catsuit meshes that came out some time ago) because those meshes always seemed to have problems with how the texture applies around the groin area.
But the textures on these meshes you're using are very clean! Great work.
Yes I hope the RGF issue is temporary too. -

It is an all new mesh. I've seen the "catsuit" one you are talking about. I tried using it a long time ago, it was pretty messed up. I could probably fix it with what I have learned working on this mesh.
This is the base mesh that I made:
All of my armors start with this mesh.
Then the UV layout is like this:
There are some things I would do differently now that I have done quite a few of these. But it would be a pain to go back and rework them all now.
One thing I've been doing is keeping all the pieces organized in Gimp.
So I have layer groups for each armor set, and then groups within those groups for each armor piece.
Then I can turn whole sets on and off while I work on them. I made my lowest layer my base texture so I can see how things line up.

Whoa, that IS a high-poly mesh! Though you did say it isn't causing any problems, so I guess it's all good.
Hey I use GIMP too! Though I don't have that many layer-groups in one file as I get confused easily

Latest armor is the "Assassin Set".
I made a bunch of tweaks to weight painting, textures, uv maps as well.
I also found out that after upgrading my laptop to windows 10, that Torchlight doesn't want to run on it.
I've already started working on my Gunslinger set. Once that is done, I'll stop modding Torchlight, and start modding Torchlight 2. I have some ideas on improving my base model so it doesn't take me so long to put out meshes.

The last armor set, gunslinger!
Based on the Re-l Mayer character from Ergo Proxy. I took a slightly different approach to this one and used texture painting in blender for nearly all of the textures since it was based on an anime.
For reference:
I also went through and made all new icons for the witch class armor sets. I wrote a small dos tool to modify all the .dat files. Found out that they are all unicode, and if you don't specify unicode on the output, that the next time you start your game, there are no armors.
I made some other small tweaks. I just need to remove the adm files, zip it up and upload it. -
