Looking around for art inspirations I found this blog post from Jason Beck with early storyboards for Torchlight 2 cinematics...

this is the first time I see the Empires Capital located on the other continent (so it's called "Auberon"?)
Spoiler: World map - I looped it with photoshop to see the continents left and right (hover to show)
In the middle you can see the same shapes like on that storyboard
And the same in HUGE and with locations


I started to create a more complete Lore database for modding backgrounds. Every little piece helps to fill map

The whole story is like an earth based story. Someone came across the see colonizing the "new world" hunting for gold/ember and killing the origins? Well...
Next will be slavery and a war between north and south :)

I made this map two years ago to explain how colonized Vilderan. And now I know how is called "the old world".  :)
