Mod Changes

1. Dungeon Level Changes

Changes dungeons to start at either level 51, 81, 100, 120 or 150, while staying in NG+0

This mod DOES NOT reset the Main Story Line Quests when activated.

When a player moves onto the next NG+ Mode, they isolate themselves from playing with anyone online that is not in the same NG+ mode. This mod is designed as a work around. A player can stay in NG+0 and still level without having to solely rely the Mapworks to level up.

Just inactive this mod to go back to NG+0 leveled dungeons to join lower level games.

Of course, your low level friends could join your higher leveled game as well and can be used as a means to Power Level other players. See number 2.

2. XP Changes

This mod also enables Power Leveling with online games.

High Level Players and Low Level Players can now join the same games without any XP penalties.

Players have to be in the same area to actually earn XP from kills.

Hey thanks R for this! I been meaning to react but was stuck first on "can i use this? Is it for me?"  :D

And those questions might (partially) explain the lack of reaction to this mod (and the Power Levelling mod too) on other forums. Maybe if you presented it with a "problem - solution" type of explanation/intro. It might help viewers see more quickly if this is for them. Just a thought ;)

Edit
And no, it's probably not for me. I have 600+ hrs in this game and never even reached level 50  :D

Ha, point taken.  I did sort of rush the the posting of this.  So let me try to explain.

IF you have 600+ hours and never have gotten over level 50 then, yes there is no point for you to download this mod.  Basically this mod is aimed at individuals who like to get to level 100 and still want to use those characters playing with all their friends who are still lower levels.

To be able to get to level 100 you have two choices.  1. Stay in NG+0 and only do Mapworks to level... which can get rather stale quickly.  The other option is to move onto NG+1 and NG+2 at minimum.  But doing so isolates that player from playing with friends like you who never leave NG+0 :) with this higher leveled character.  They can't join the same games anymore.

There is no way to go back to NG+0 once a player has moved onto NG+1, unless you use a character editor tool to get yourself back to NG+0.  But that tool doesn't always work and can bug out your character.

These mods allow a player to play higher end content while still being able to stay in NG+0.  They simply have to disable the NG+ mod and their dungeons automatically go back to NG+0 levels  and they can now join games with lower leveled characters.

OR

If you want to play higher end content at lower levels, it is a way to do so without having to go through the grind of working through every act and quest to move on.  Sometimes it's just nice to fire up higher leveled dungeons :)

Thanks!  And welcome to the world of Torchlight II, it's an amazing game :)

This mod can also be used for test see how strong your character is at lower levels.  Have a level 25 character... fire up NG+1 and see how you do ;)
