Hi All. I intend to collect knowledge (starting with a list of tuts) about making levels/maps/dungeons and also making quests and place them in the original post.
I'm doing this as my first step in preparing to make a "factions mod" which (i think for now) is mainly quest-driven and will need custom levels for the "base" of each faction.
Feel free to toss me links to anything that looks eveny remotely helpful for these topics :D

Factions is something I have never seen any Torchlight modder attempt previously in my knowledge. However For Quest and Dungeon Logic I would say:
So I'm thinking of a large map where the various factions offer bounty Quests for the player and ultimately there are hidden kill counters that affect how the factions treat the player. Just an idea. :)

Added a few more video tutorials I saw on the old runicgames.com forums. Still mostly about level-building; there seem to be very few tuts on quest-making. Will check out the Steam forums tomorrow.
