Do you think this will be a problem for Outlanders or other classes, who need to invest highly in Dexterity to gain access to gear? Without there being a flat damage increase per point investment like with Strength and Focus, Dex based builds will be at a disadvantage in damage output when needing 3000+ dexterity stat points to access high end gear.
The two simplest ways to fix this would be
1. Apply a "free" +damage bonus affix on all ranged items that scales with item level to boost damage output. Probably more balanced than option 2. I can make a 1h version and a 2h version.
2. Increase Damage Rarity per item Tier (every 100 level increase) that basically increases damage on all ranged items. (easiest way by far)
Other possible fixes
3. Change Dex based weapons/armor to use Strength instead (my least preferred fix) and basically marginalizing the need to invest in Dexterity for any class.
4. Add a damage bonus to the Dexterity Stat like gytfunke did with my Item Patch mod I was working on.
Will I need to do something?

I don't usually play ranged builds, but just based on how balanced the options "sound" I think I like the 4th option most :P

They all have problems. Just gotta decide which one creates less problems while solving some.
The is one major issues with No.4
What type of damage bonus?
If I make it weapon based like Strength, it allows a player to double dip with both str and dex damage bonuses, essentially creating a balancing nightmare.
If I make it ranged based damage, it leaves out other melee weapons that use dex as a secondary stat requirement. Dex is on a lot of items it probably shouldn't be.
So adding a damage bonus to the dex creates other issues.

Hey why don't you release the Stats Overhaul mod you and gyt made as its own mod? It was already pretty polished when you had it as part of your Items Overhaul :o ;)

I know, I should. The thought actually crossed my mind earlier today, you reading my thoughts?!

:D Nah I think it's just that good ideas have a way of continuously popping back up to the surface. You and gyt had a gem in that stat tweaking mod! ;)

Yes they do don't they haha. gyt did most of the work on that one, I just offered suggestions :) It is pretty awesome and very ingenious how he did it, and it might be needed for ranged classes to be able to access high level content with LAO III. So I will consider releasing it.
