Title: New Sound for New Staff Animations
Post by: Phanjam on December 25, 2016, 09:39:43 pm
Hi RnF!  First off, I see 4 staff attack animations. I assume these are internally renamed .SKELETON files of other suitable animations and I'd just like to know which ones, so I can inpsect the trigger points ;)

...the character does grunt when using the staff still, like it is sooooo hard to thurst that staff lol.  But I can live with it or I should be able to change that.

id be happy to volunteer a sound fix for that anim.

You have been enlisted!  Thanks Phan!

They are all the same POLEARM1 animation, I just replaced and renamed STAFF1, STAFF2, STAFF3 and STAFF4 internally to replace all the vanilla staff animations with the one animation.

There is no difference between them, except their name.

Gotcha ;) Attached to this post are the sound fix files. Tested working in GUTS and should be ready to merge.

I noticed you picked up the polearm1 attack animation of HUM_F.  But it's still a swing motion unlike the polearm1 of HUM_M.  You might wanna use HUM_F's polearm3 animation instead; that's the one with a jabbing motion.

Thanks on both accounts!  I haven't really given them a full test yest, I just assumed the male and female animations were named the same... guess not.
