Like a forced town portal where the monster casts a teleport spell on the player and the player is teleported back to town. The solution to this would be an 'anti-teleport' token in inventory.
Also, can a monster summon a clone of the player to fight the player?
Ideas to consider after I finish current project...

I think someone had a thread about that somewhere (maybe even here on TM). As a town-portal, yeah I think it is do-able, but that would be a long transition - would drive me bonkers! :D
...can a monster summon a clone of the player to fight the player?
I REALLY like this idea :o

Not really. Best you can do easily is create a generic human monster that inherits the player's stats (strength, dex, etc).
With a lot of futzing you could also have the generic monster equipped with the player's skills. But it would take a LOT of work for very little payoff.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah, I thought I could just make a human monster 5 levels above the dungeon level with just random skills.
As for the 'teleport', just an instakill without a token in inventory would do.
How about gold steal, can that be done?
Current project is turning the town fishing hole into a replayable gambling machine...charging a fee to pull a lever instead of casting a fishing line.
