:) Yup, I was surprised when I saw how cool it is. And I got a new idea!
Such creature would die in a special way - after death the spectral shell disappears, ie the soul leaves the body like smoke and you see just lying lifeless skeleton.

Agree with Wolven, those spectral wolves are uber-cool!!!

I love that idea of the spectral "cloak" blowing off in a death animation, leaving just the skeleton.  That would be awesome!

Hey guys long time no posting, finals are eating me alive but well...

Kva this is awesome, I love the skeleton and the spectral wolf
 may I inspire you an idea? What about a spectral character model? If you make the external mesh spectral like the wolf would the normal wardrobe work?

Well, I thought about it yesterday...
I suppose that it is possible to do something like this - "Ghost skin":

But if we're talking about the full spectral character (+ spectral armor), it will be more difficult (a lot of work with wardrobe meterials), but most likely also possible.

No, only the human body, like the ghost skin.  8) So that you only need to edit the character mesh/material and not the wardrobe.

So... It's doable, interesting, really interesting   :-\
